Below is a description of the concert attire used for Monadnock Chorus
concerts. The objective in this attire change is to still present a consistent and
professional look but allow a little more freedom of style.. If there are any
further changes to this, you will be
notified during rehearsals.
Women:
Women wear full-length black skirts or black slacks, black stockings and
comfortable black shoes.
For the Winter concert, women wear jewel tone blouses (any bright color) and
this blouse may be tucked in or be an over-blouse. If jewelry is worn
it should be conservative in style. In the Spring, women will wear all
black (skirt or pants and blouse tucked in or not).
Men:
Black tuxedo, white PLEATED shirt (no ruffles), black bow tie,
black shoes and socks. In the Winter, men may wear any color
cummerbund, including black.

THE CHORUS, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM WEARING EITHER TO REHEARSALS AND
CONCERTS! IN ADDITION, IT IS REQUESTED THAT YOU REFRAIN FROM
SMOKING ON THE WAY TO REHEARSAL. |
