Welcome to the Monadnock Chorus returning and interested new members!  Please see the registration section for Spring 2013 registration information.
 
Voice Placement
If you have never sung with us or have been away from the chorus for two or more consecutive seasons, you will need a voice placement. Voice placements are held the first three Wednesdays of each new season. You do not need to prepare a piece as in an audition – bring yourself and your voice. Contact the MC Membership at monadnockchorus@gmail.com to schedule a voice placement time.
 
Rehearsals
Rehearsals are held Wednesday nights from 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM at the Union Congregational Church, 33 Concord Street in Peterborough. Optional rehearsals are held the first Tuesday of each month for extra practice or to make up a missed rehearsal. See the Member Fact Sheet, below, for a calendar and other membership details.
 
Dues
Membership dues are $50 per season (Fall and Spring). Full-time student dues are $10 per season. Payment by check, cash or credit card available.
 
Music
Music is approximately $25 per season. Depending on the program, music can be rented. Payment by check, cash or credit card available.
 
Practice CD’s
Practice CD’s are available at times for $10. Check with MC Membership at monadnockchorus@gmail.com if interested.
 
Attendance Policy
To help the chorus achieve the highest possible level of performance skills, chorus members should attend all scheduled rehearsals for the full rehearsal time. Please be prompt! We ask that you not miss more than three rehearsals. Contact Membership Chair if you need to miss more than three. If a rehearsal is cancelled due to inclement weather, an email will be sent by 4 PM notifying you of the cancellation.
 
Concert Attire
Unless announced at rehearsal, concert dress is: Women: White full or ¾ length sleeve top and black floor length skirt or dressy pants. Black hose and shoes. Men: Black tuxedo, double breasted or single, regular tails. White tuxedo shirt, pleated (no ruffles) with collar. Black bow tie and cummerbund. Black shoes and socks. Please refrain from wearing cologne, perfume, or hair spray at rehearsals and concerts. In addition, refrain from smoking on the way to rehearsals.

Registration
