Our Repertoire
 |
One of the best things about The Monadnock Chorus is the
wide variety of music we have the opportunity to sing and
perform. Our range includes major classical works and requiems,
folk songs, modern works, hymns, spirituals, and more! There is
always something for everyone. Most members are quick to
acknowledge that it is wonderful and unique to have the opportunity to
sing such beautiful works of music. We also learn more about
music with every season. |
The Chorus has even commissioned a special
work by MacDowell Fellow, John David Earnest. This piece was set to a poem written
by a member of the Monadnock Chorus. It was performed by the Chorus in Carnegie
Hall in 1998.
